Since I love Richard Blais so much, I can’t wait to try his new Restaurant that opened this past weekend in Midtown. Anyone go?

Thanks to my brother-in-law and sister-in-law for letting us crash at their house in the burbs this weekend. It was a great Memorial day weekend with lots of food, pool time, drinks and fun.
Our little Stout even loved being in the pool!
I haven’t had the time to blog in awhile, but I really do like looking at this blog for 15min every once in awhile during my lunch to laugh.

Happy Fat Tuesday!!!
No major partying for me tonight, just working out after work and probably enjoying some wine. I don’t know what to give up for Lent this year… Fried food again? Drinking during the week? One of my friends on FB is giving up Facebook, Pinterest, all online media sites (TMZ, People, etc.), and other internet… I don’t think I could do that. I also feel like I should do something for others, suggestions?
COREY SMITH’S NEW SONG!!!
We danced to Corey’s “The First Dance” for our wedding song and now he posted his latest love song on youtube! I will need to download the studio version later! ”Love Says It All.”
My Valentine’s Day was perfect. I am not one that has ever made a big deal out of the day, but it is nice to do something for the one you love. I don’t really want flowers since they are over priced on or around Valentine’s and I don’t like going to overcrowded restaurants so we made dinner at home. I came home to wine that we got as a shower gift ready to be opened on the table, and I did open it right away :)
The hubs and I made scallops (that I hunted down by going to 2 Whole Foods), on top of cheese grits and a sauce that we saw Kevin Gillespie make at a tasting we went to not to long ago (Post to come). I made Cal a card I did on Illustrator, so cute! Hope ya’ll had a great day with the ones you loved <3
